A rising trend that seems to be appearing in many students apartment it the absence of a television. With all the network show available online and increasing digital cable payments, people are rethinking what they need and doing away with what isn't really important. Students might enjoy picking up a book, versus picking up the remote and turning to MTV. With the popularity of books like Twilight, young people are becoming involved in the world of literature and feeding their minds more then just junk.
