Teacher's Pets
These girl's have style.
Both girls look chic and presentable. They have found the perfect balance between whimsical and elegance while still dressing appropriately for their age group. I think both outfits have small details that complete the look and make the outfit that much more unique. I love the scarf that the girl on the left is wearing. The color palette meshes with the over tone of he outfit perfectly. I also liked the skirt that the girl on the right is wearing because it is bright enough to pop but not overwhelming. After seeing he cheetah gladiator sandals, I must go and find a pair for myself.
Take a lesson from these star students and try to create that light and playful feeling while remaining presentable and chic.
The girl on the left is wearing:
- A white tank top
- Navy Blue Cardigan
- High waisted off white linen skirt
- A light blue silk scarf with white flowers and some yellow detailing
A large quilted handbag with gold chain handles
- Gucci flats with gold metal embellishments
The girl on the right is wearing:
- A loose off white linen top
- A darker peach/ salmon colored blazer
- A bright blue high wasted skirt
- Brown leather handbag with gold accents
- Cheetah print gladiator sandals
- Large round sunglasses with a tan frame

Chain Reaction
We all know that as college students, we are usually under some type of stress whether it be from school loans, homework, or social problems. Anxiety runs ramped through the halls, but many students have found their quick fix and momentary sense of relief. Smoke breaks are a must among many school campuses, and it seems to never go out of style.

Healthy Living
College students aren't known to have the greatest eating habits or nutrition. Most of us just left home and don't have too much confidence in the kitchen yet, but there are easy solutions out there for healthy nutrition. San Francisco has weekly markets, and these are great places to purchase fresh fruits and veggies for low prices.

Urban Outfitters: $39.99
Vests have officially passed the test. Talk about a versatile, this easily to pair accessory has been seen throughout the fashion industry on the runway and in the streets. Vests are a great piece to dress up a plain T or tank when on the go. They also go great with other layers such as a possible blazer or sweater. Mix and match to create a preppy studious look or an urban hobo chic look.

One's Trash, Another's Treasure
Isn't the hunt the best part? At Crossroad Trading Company, you are almost guaranteed that. With racks full of second hand apparel and accessories, customers are on own their own to search through the mish mash of used apparel and find a hidden gem. With most prices set at less than half the original price of the garment, customers are able to find inexpensive clothes that have already been broken in for them. Now, there is that occasional missing button or torn lining, but you can get more buttons and sew the ripped seems. Finding a chic winter coat that was made just for you and is only $20 dollars is not usually an opportunity that presents itself everyday. When shopping there be aware that not everything is perfect. Remember to look past the small issues and see the big picture. I would recommend Crossroads to anyone who is shopping on a budget and not afraid to rummage around for the right look.

For students shopping on a budget, Forever 21 is a great place to go and find some of the top trends of the season. With a prime location right outside the Powell Bart and Muni station in Union Square, it is a one stop shop for bargain hunters alike. Now don't get me wrong, Forever 21 has been known to copy designer silhouettes right off the run way, but do you really want to object to designer looks for low prices?

Not just a bike
Bicycling for many is becoming more than just a sport. Students who have been introduced to cycling commonly find themselves completely engrossed in the lifestyle of a cyclist displaying brands that are dominant in the cycling world and changing the way of living. Some become vegans and give up meat, and others vow to only drink a specific type of beer that is the signature alcoholic beverage for cyclists. Obsession or Trend?
